Natural Power and Light for Homes
Solar Homes:
Natural Power & Light works with homeowners to design custom "grid tied" solar power systems. The process begins with a survey, where we gather information about your site, energy use, expectations for system performance, and budget. We use this information to design a project plan which details the overall system design, components, costs, and estimated implementation time. Once the project plan is complete we schedule a time to walk through the plan together, make any necessary adjustments needed prior to project kickoff.
Natural Power and Light traditionally installs grid tied solar systems becuase they are reliable and are eligible to receive incentives from both New York State and the Federal Government to offset system costs through direct rebates, tax credits, and net metering programs. Grid tie systems allow a homeowner the ability to draw power from the utility grid as needed, and send energy created from the solar panels back into the grid. We will also install stand alone systems which are not connected to the utility grid, the power created by the panels is stored in a battery bank instead.

Natural Power and Light sells and installs Solar Tube Skylights, a great way to add natural light to almost any living space. Non invasive, easy to install, and inexpensive these skylights can brighten a dull spot in your home, and help keep electric costs down.
Solar Roofing:
Natual Power and Light sells solar shingle roofing material and installs solar roofs. This is a system where the solar panels and roofing material are one in the same.
